Salvador Dali was born in the city of Figueres in the Catalonia region, located in northern Spain. Upon arriving in Paris, he found great success and was introduced to Picasso, who admired his immense talent.

His originality made him a leader of the surrealist movement. He began by giving form to his unconscious obsessions and unleashing the power of his creative and artistic imagination in paintings, his favorite means of expressions, before moving on to many other disciplines. To this illustrious painter, art traveled well beyond painting. Also an eclectic artist, this over-the-top genius had a passion for many disciplines where he would make his mark: interior design, furniture design, literature, jewelry, advertising, media, film, perfumery, publishing, sculpture, fashion etc.

Illustrating one of the many steps in his artistic evolution, the jewelry collection created between 1941 and 1970, which serves as the inspiration for the Dali Haute Parfumerie fragrances created by Alberto Morillas, demonstrates his untiring quest for beauty and perfection. By breaking down different art forms, Salvador Dali, iconoclastic artist unleashes a gust of creativity that inspires the renowned Master Perfumer. With incredible talent and achieving a harmony of mind and soul, Alberto Morillas uses precious essences to transcribe the work of the great artist, Salvador Dali.

Dali Haute Parfumerie draws its inspiration from the permanent exhibition, “Dali Jewels”, to which the Fundacio Gala-Salvador Dali has dedicated a museum next to the Dali Theatre-Museum in Figueres.

Borrowing several emblems from the Master’s iconography, notably the eye, butterfly, chalice, hand and watch, Dali Haute Parfumerie follows one of his ambitions: to create jewelry pieces that please the eye, while raising the spirits and touching the heart. Like a jewelry piece by Dali, the fragrance takes on a completely new dimension when it touches the skin. It enhances the wearer by giving her artistic control of her life.

The exception bottles, designed with the same eye for luxury and excellence, showcase the divine essences. Figurative and expressive, they feature the quintessence of the artist’s spirit: a skillfully and freely interpreted tribute to an original piece of art.

Becoming jewels in themselves, the bottles hint at the treasures they hold within and weave a bond between two forms of language: that of the perfumer and that of the artist, uniting smell, touch and sight the senses of sensuality.

Salvador Dali s-a nascut in orasul Figueres in regiunea Catalonia, localizata in nordul Spaniei, iar Parisul a fost locul unde a cunoscut succesul si unde l-a intalnit pe Picasso, care i-a admirat talentul imens.

Originalitatea sa l-a transformat intr-un lider al miscarii suprarealiste. A inceput prin a da forma obsesiilor sale subconstiente si prin dezlantuirea puterii sale creative si imaginatiei artistice in picturi, acesta fiind si modul sau preferat de exprimare, inainte de a trece la multe alte discipline. Artist electic, acest geniu imens a fost pasionat de multe discipline asupra carora si-a pus amprenta: design interior, literatura, bijuterii, advertising, media, film, parfumerie, moda etc.

Dali Haute Parfumerie si-a gasit inspiratia in Bijuteriile Dali, carora Fundatia Gala-Salvador Dali le-a dedicat un muzeu langa Dali Theatre-Museum in Figueres.

Imprumutand cateva embleme din iconografia Maestrului, ochiul, fluturele pocalul, mana si ceasul, Dali Haute Parfumerie urmeaza una dintre ambitiile marelui artist: aceea de a crea bijuterii, piese ce incanta privirea, in timp ce exalta spiritul si ating inima.
